Hi, I'm new to this forum so I'm not quite sure if this is where this particular thread should be. First off, Georgetown is by far and away my first choice. I really want to get into the SFS and study something along the lines of international business or international economics. However, as college applications get closer, I don't feel like Georgetown is a likely option anymore. What are some good universities with programs similar to SFS that are presumably easier to get into. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the Georgetown forum! When you say that you no longer feel GT is a likely option, what exactly is causing you second guess yourself? The SFS is a very selective, unique program that as a whole is truly hard to find anywhere else. If you are looking for the Jesuit experience both Fordham and Boston College have strong IR Departments. George Washington University in DC is also phenomenal. Though more known for their graduate school, GWU’s Elliott School is located within walking distance of the State Dept. and many embassies. Good luck!
