I saw Brandeis and I liked it. I saw Rochester and I fell in LOVE with it. Basically, I want a smaller (but not too small) university with a nice suburban campus where I can get a good education. Can you suggest any similar schools?

I think I'll have to give this just a little bump...

Tufts is the first the comes to mind.

Damn. You took mine.

HeavenWood - do you mean in terms of campus or academics?

Both are important to me. Obviously, academics takes priority, but I would like a similar campus feel to Rochester and Brandeis.

Boston U, Syracuse, George Washington, Union College, and Clark University on the low end, U of Chicago on the high end.

Umm, no...I visited BU and it is completely different from Rochester and Brandeis. I can't comment on the rest of the ones on your list though...

I applied to both those school and I think Case Western is very similar (I applied there too)

Tufts for sure

I have no idea why TourGuide came up with that list. You clearly wanted a small unviersity with a suburban CAMPUS. BU and GW are the opposite of what you want

Tufts is harder to get into no?

Slightly

I found it very similar to U of R, just with a better location (near Boston)

The big difference is, U of R isn't that big on GPA, while Tufts, being loads more competitive, is.

O Tufts is very competitive?

Hey just out of Curiosity whats the "Fletcher school", is it highly ranked?

fletcher school is for graduate international relations but undergrads can take it there...and yes, it is one of the best international relations programs in the country.

Is it the same kind of school as SFS @ Gtown?

No, it's just a graduate school. You can take courses there, but it is not a separate undergraduate college like SFS is

Rice University, near Houston.

Let's see...Brandeis and Rochester are matches for me. I suppose Tufts could be a reach. How about safeties? So far I've only come up with The College of New Jersey...

i've never heard of that school...

id check out american, providence, richmond, villanova and william & mary.
