For most of the schools I'm applying to my SAT is below average and I took it three times.I tried really hard and the highest scores I got were 600 in Reading, 540 in math, and 610 in writing.

Then I took the ACT in September and got a 26 in Math, 22 in Reading, 25 In English, and 25 in Science. My composite score was a 25.

I took the ACT in October and thought I did much better in the writing and reading. If my scores are higher for the two sections will a school look at my highest scores and combine them for the ACT to create a new composite score ( if it says they take the highest scores)?

And it should be composites as the thread title not compsites
