Schools that accept only UW GPA

<p>I'm just curious.</p>

<p>Are there schools that will not accept weighted grades at all, and will only accept unweighted? If so, can you name them, or some of them that you know about. Thanks.</p>

<p>No top school will admit you based on your weighted GPA. Weighted GPAs are really only useful in the high school setting for determining class rank.</p>

<p>Your official transcript, sent to colleges, should list your weighted and unweighted GPA. </p>

<p>Very few schools care that your 4.0 suddenly becomes a 4.6 with weighting. They expect that you have taken the most rigorous curriculum and suceeded, weighting is redundant.</p>

<p>I believe that many colleges also recalculate your GPA in their own way…not sure about that though.</p>
