I know Penn allows this. Which others?
Cornell does
Bump - I’ve learned that WashU and Goergetown do not
I believe Emory University technically allows undergrads to take law school courses. Out of curiosity, why are you asking about schools which welcome the practice of non law students taking law school classes for credit?
Harvard does, with the permission of the professor.
@whenhen I’m in a “PreLaw” program at my high school, and so have taken some basic elective courses on Business Law, Torts, Criminal Law and Procedure, and Constitutional Law. As part of the program, I’ll intern at a courthouse and various law offices in my area next year, and, when I graduate next year, I’ll have taken 10 semesters of law courses. I like to think that this program has given me a nice introduction to the law, as I’ve so far studied and briefed several hundred cases.
Law is definitely an area I am interested in as a future career, and I wouldn’t want to go 4 years without really studying it.
I’m most interested in International Law, so I think some classes with this focus could really complement a political science/IR/gov major.
