Schools that are right for me?

I'm entering my summer before junior year and am starting to consider some colleges. So far I've been on the campuses of Duke, UNC, Lehigh, and Penn State, for one reason or another, but I never have been on an actual college visit. I like the feel of a school like Duke or Lehigh, not too large. Penn State and UNC were WAY too big for me.

I haven't made a decision on what I would like to major in, but probably in some type of engineering or international business and policy.

Schools I am considering looking into include:

Villanova University
Boston College
Northeastern University
Clemson University
American University
Boston University
George Washington University
University of Pittsburgh
Georgetown University
Emory University

I'm looking to stay on the east coast, preferably near a large city. Opinions on any of these schools or suggestions for other schools to consider would be great.

Well, I would say cross off Boston University. It’s a pretty big school lacking a campus. From what I’ve heard it’s a lot of buildings scattered through the city, and doesn’t give the best college feel.

Boston University has a campus, it’s buildings aren’t scattered through the city, it is just kind of narrow and long without a quad. But is as on the same size scale as UNC as is Pitt, and Northeastern isn’t much smaller. Carnegie Mellon might be more in your size range, but admission is tough. Elon might be another school to look at.
