Do you know of any small LACs that consider the SAT writing score for admissions & $$?
Many schools seemed to be still locked into the 1600 R/M scores, especially for merit money...my writing score was by far my strongest. (R-670, M-610, W-740 I'll be taking the SATs again next week & in June, hoping to bring the math & reading up).

Definitely bring that Math score. LACs look at M/R, I believe. The two components are relatively more “important” than Writing, apparently.

ive been told they only really look at the writing score if you do really well, or horribly.

translucent, one place to start is by searching entering a school name that you are interested on the College Board’s website. click the SAT/ACT policy link. You will find that some schools list that the writing score and the essay is important in admissions. For those that don’t list this policy, call admissions and ask. Good luck!
