<p>Syracuse added ED2 deadline Dec. 15th</p>

<p>This is good and bad. My son is looking to apply ED to one school, and has a few days to decide to apply ED2 to another school if he doesn’t get into the first. If the first school delays their ED and therefore their decisions, he will have a problem getting in ED2 for the second school.</p>
<p>@rhandco–ED deadlines were delayed last year due to snafus with the new Common Application roll-out. It is highly unlikely that that this will happen again. Usually it is weather atrocities, such as Hurricane Sandy, that affect deadlines, but–in most cases–even if the deadline is moved, the notification date is not. So with all the admissions-related matters that you and your son may be worrying about, I think that you can probably take this one off the list.
