I was wondering if anyone knew of any colleges or universities that will offer in state tuition for students who meet a certain criteria such as a certain SAT/ACT score or anything along those lines. I want to go out of state, and any financial help would be awesome. Anything is appreciated! Thanks.

First what are your stats? Second, what state do you live in now?

Ohio State offers the Buckeye Scholarships to OOS students with high GPA and test scores that effectively make the school in-state, but I believe the deadline for those have passed. (Deadline was Nov. 1.)

Alabama has a similar program, all the way up to full tuition, that is still open. Dec. 15 deadline.

Why not look at private schools. Many offer generous FA or merit scholarships.

What’s your class rank? UMinnesota-TC has a scholarship that gives you in-state tuition if you are in the top 5-10%.

However, you usually should apply early to get those.

Texas A&M has waivers of non-resident additional tuition attached to many of its scholarships (including the National Merit one).

University of Minnesota - Morris does not charge non-resident additional tuition at all.

Temple.
