<p>Oos tuition waivers could be a significant source of institutional merit $. Difference between in state and out of state tuition can be as high as 20k (eg. UM 19k+).</p>
<p>Please add to the list of schools that offer oos tuition waivers and mention any qualification requirements if known. </p>

<p>University of South Carolina-Columbia offers instate tuition ($7408 as opposed to $19,836 for oos, estimated costs for 2006-2007) to any students who are awarded certain scholarships.</p>
<p>Im not sure if you were talking about Univ of Michigan ( UM ) I live here and I belelieve in state tuition runs around 19K and Out state is 30K, but were,nt aware of any out of state tuition waivers, but have a midwest tuition exchange ( but not with ohio ) program, not sure how it works but I know someone from Minn that used it. <p>As far as I know, pretty much all public schools in Texas offer waivers if you earn x amount of scholarship money. I know UT, A&M, and Tech do for sure.</p>
