I didn't know Conn was a party school.

I think top ten candidates would include
Uof colorado
Arizona State
Uof Arizona
'Bama
florida
FLorida state
Wisconsin
UCSB
Chico State
San Diego State

San Diego State, UCSB, UCLA, USC def for the southern cal area.

I've heard UNC (CH) got a hot party scene...

Arizona State is by far the best party school in the nation. Something about 50,000 students and hot weather will do that to you. Following closely behind on this list (my opinion BTW) are UT Austin, Ohio State, UW Madison, Penn State, and Iowa.

Are clubs usually free in college? Free drinks?

Clubs are so not free. Drinks are free if you're a hot girl.

Arizona State takes number one almost every year.

KU kids party hard. Most state universities do.

Washington and Lee is in the top 5 on three or four of Princeton Review's party rankings (beer, hard liquor, general partying...maybe not reefer madness).

Dartmouth is also a mega party school.

"Conn" usually refers to Connecticut College, which isn't really a party school. UConn, however, does have that reputation. In all seriousness, though, most of the partying occurs off-campus, not on. It's the local apartment complexes, especially the Carriage House and Celeron Square, where the real insanity goes on. On the campus itself, it's not so prevalent. It's there, but not at all overwhelming.

Ok, seriously, I've heard that those MIT academicians go absolutely insane! ... and I'm not talking like quantum physics or computer networking gatherings...

Yup, MIT frat parties are supposed to be great...and as a Wellesley girl, I'm really looking forward to them :-P.

I have a friend starting at Wellesley in fall as a transfer, and she's already met MIT guys.

Indiana University Bloomington
XD

^
^
And that's why I'm applying to Indiana.

what have you guys heard about stanford?? lol it better be good news or ill be changing decisions really quickly. i have heard different opinions from people but hopefully your insight is a little more positive

UW-Madison was up there in the PR rankings, as I remember. (One reason I want to apply there....)

And although it's not on the lists, U of I should be.

Any school that's made the Final Four within the last 5 years is probably a party school. Or I guess if they have a good football team...whatev.

Good athletics=good parties

I have friends down at U of I, and you should hear the stories about the parties this year--it was all absolutely ridiculous.

That being said, I wish I'd been there.

Kids at my high school always show up on Monday and say "Heyyyy Sarah (or whoever), saw you at the New Hampshire (or Vermont or Kentucky or whatever) party this weekend!"

Key fact: Our streets are named after states.
You pre-party at someone's house. Then you go to a sports bar and drink more. Then you go to the bars on Mass Street and drink until they close at 2. Then you go to a party on New Hampshire/Vermont/Kentucky/Delaware and keep drinking. If you do coke, now would be when you'd do it. Then you go home and smoke pot before bed.

Uh, beak em.

We know how to party down at Tulane.

I have a couple of friends on some Stanford athletic teams (football/track) and they say the social scene is ****ing terrible there. They have big parties maybe three times a semester if that, I've been told.

UPenn! Woo!
