Does anyone know if any walk-in schools send out decisions without applying?
Trying to save $…
Why would a school accept someone who didn’t bother to apply? If I were the school I would take that to mean a kid wasn’t legitimately interested.
I don’t know of any schools that will accept you without applying, no matter what the major.
to clarify: Artistic acceptance
Never say never… it happened to my D in 2014. Not sure if it was an oversight… but it definitely happened.
After official audition, I believe both Utah (per parent meeting) and Otterbein let you know via email if you will be accepted to the program but you have to apply and be academically accepted to the university to make it official.
It happened for my S in 2015. One school even emailed him a waiver after his Unified walk in because they wanted him artistically, but he needed to apply for academic acceptance.
D1 got an artistic offer in 2016 pre-application. In order to accept the artistic offer, she had to apply academically.
