Schools to consider for a somewhat mediocre incoming Senior?

Going to be a senior come August; wanted some suggestions on which schools to go for.

Considering any university; setting doesn't really matter. Currently thinking about applying to mainly UCs (is Cal too much of a stretch for me with my low test scores though?), but I'm not sure if I'll have an easy time or not in the first place, and I haven't really done any research on what schools what fit my major best. I'd like to hear your suggestions (on anything - what to do for tests, colleges, etc.)/comments.

Bump-----.

Wow your average is great and your senior year schedule is very strong. What region are you interested in looking into?

I’m looking to stay in California, and am willing to look anywhere in cali.

Bump------

bump------

first of all, you’re not mediocre. those stats are actually well above average. you would probably get into all UCs (with the exception of UCB and UCLA).

I’m looking into the same major as you! =D I love comp sci. I would apply to CalTech if you have time, just because it doesn’t necessarily hurt and you can probably get the application fee waived (they’re very generous with that).
I’d say you’re good for all of the UCs except UC Berkeley (low reach) and UCLA (I have no idea, never looked at it).
I’d say also apply to CalPoly. It’s not my type of school because of the environment it has, but it has good comp sci so you might like it.
You’re definitely not mediocre, you’re above average. Just because you’re not as insane as some of these kids with like perfect scores on everything before age 6 doesn’t make you mediocre =)
