So it seems that I can do better than the schools I'm applying to, but people don't seem to want to tell me WHICH schools XD. If anyone wants to paint a picture for me of schools that are really strong matches for me, I'd appreciate it. :)

Just some things I really want:
I'd love to stay in California if it's at all possible.
Urban or suburban setting (I don't want to be too far away from the city)
Large schools don't bother me, but I'd pretty much be happy anywhere except for a TINY school.
I'm looking into Liberal Arts.

Okay, so here's some of my basic stats:
Female
Class of '08
Rank 31 out of roughly 750 (top 5% easily)
SAT: 1670 (before you ask, no I am not retaking this)
ACT: Will take on Oct. 21 (I've gotten a 26 on my practice test, which is equal to roughly an 1850 on the SAT. Courtesy of Wikipedia.)

Awards: HOBY Nomination/Runner-Up, Medal of merit nominee in English, 3 different levels of Science awards (6 offered at my school, but they get increasingly difficult to earn as the level increases), Outstanding English Student (grade 9), Outstanding Modern World History Student (grade 10), Scholar Athlete, Most Dedicated Player, Music Letter, Varsity & JV golf letters

EC's: Women's Golf for 3 years (I wasn't actually on JV, because we don't
have enough girls for a JV team, I just didn't play in enough matches to be considered a varsity player), involved in school's Spring musical for 3 years (Understudy Junior Year, hopefully Lead Role Senior Year), GirlsTalk Club Co-Chair, Cultural Assembly Committee Member, Choir for 9 years, Musical Theatre for 7, church worship team for 3 years this November.

Community Service: As of right now I have about 93 hours. However it's likely I'll have about 130 by graduation.

APs/Honors: I took APUSH but only got a 2 on the test. I took Accelerated/Honors English for 3 years and took Honors Science this past year.

Any help is greatly appreciated...and if I need to post my class breakdown I can.
