Schools weighing different sections of standardized tests?

Here's my problem. I am applying to schools such as UChicago, Cornell (Engineering and Arts and sciences), Carnegie Mellon, Notre Dame, U Virginia, and maybe a couple others.

I am majoring in some sort of engineering or physics.

My ACT score is..
E: 31
M:35
R: 25
S: 33
C: 31.

The one before that was..
E: 31
M: 32
R: 34
S: 28
. C: 31
so here is my question...since im applying to schools of engineering and sciences, will they weigh my math and science scores more heavily than math and english?

And I got a 34 on reading last time...so if they see that, it should show that I am not completely illiterate.

Thanks.
