Schools where people can have fun without drinking?

Carleton
Wheaton College(IL)

I live about 2 minutes away from Wheaton College and it is a well known fact around town that the students must sign an agreement before they are permitted to attend that they will not drink during the school year.

You do have to be a little careful. The Harvard study that Mini refers to uses the "5/4" measure -- five drinks for men, four for women. Many colleges use a different survey "5/5" that produces slightly lower numbers.

I wasn't aware of that. I wish this data were easily publically accessible. What's the other (non-Harvard CAS) survey?

There are several surveys that include alcohol usage questions:

The surveys conducted by COFHE for its 31 member schools with the results shared among the members for comparison purposes:

In addition, these two surveys appear to be popular for use by individual schools as well and may be the actual surveys administered by the COFHE schools:

The CSEQ (College Student Experiences Questionairre) survey.

The ESS (Enrolled Student Survey).
