schools with audition slots that fill early

@momof2lefties, hope your daughter has a wonderful time at Otterbein! Son is a senior Acting BFA and has loved his experience there.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced BFA degree… check out Western Carolina U. Starting in the fall they are part of the NC Promise program which means tuition is capped at $500 a semester!! We live in the area. It is a beautiful campus and they do amazing shows. Terrance Mann recently joined the faculty !

Yes! I second the WCU recommendation.

FYI we were able to confirm a Baldwin Wallace Acting fall audition today, so some spots still available for actors. It looked like it was also possible to pay the audition fee and request a date before completing the full application.

D just found out she passed the prescreen for Carnegie Mellon (yay!), and when she went on Acceptd to schedule her audition, there were still lots of slots available each day. So get those prescreens in, but don’t panic thinking it’s already filled up! There’s still lots of audition slots available.

My S just passed the CM prescreen as well. There were plenty of audition spaces. We were able to send application of BW early, so we are one of the luck ones. Get your BW application out asap and the additional audition fee. They’re really awesome. I would also consider checking out Point Park.

@entertainersmom, She enjoyed it very much. She was a bit disappointed that costume wasn’t covered at all, but she got to spend time welding and using a plasma cutter in the shop class, so that fun made up for some of it. We stayed the evening to see Rumors.

@momof2lefties, glad your daughter enjoyed the visit, and sorry that costume wasn’t included. Hope you enjoyed the show!
