Schools with automatic admisson

What are some schools that automatically accepts students based on their SAT scores, and GPA.

I know that U of Oklahoma automatically accepts anyone with a class rank over 50% and an SAT score over 1170.
What are some other schools that do this? Can you name some?

Rutgers University in New Jersey
No Essay Required (unless consideratino for scholarship)
No Teacher Rec
Not even a Transcipt required (They have something where you input the grades yourself online)

University of Alabama -

My 2 sons are at UA, and they love it. It’s beautiful, has strong academics, has awesome dorms, and a really good football team. LOL

pretty much a formula acceptance…

3.0 GPA minimum

You have to have taken typical college-prep curriculum in high school

Don’t know what the minimum for SAT or ACT is, but it’s kind of mid-range.

The online app process is super EZ…no essay…takes like 2 minutes to do, because the process really involves them getting your HS transcript and your SAT or ACT scores.

If your stats are pretty good, you might even get a scholarship. You have to do the online scholarship app, too, by Dec 1.

The OOS tuition is pretty low, which is why many OOS students are coming to UA…It can be cheaper than going to school in their own state.

I suggest you take a moment and look at the Virtual Tour…you will be surprised. I recommend viewing in full screen and also click on the little pics on the bottom to see various parts of the campus.

The weather during the school year is pretty mild.

There was a thread on this recently.

Auburn and Texas A&M are 2 others.

^^^

Are you sure about Texas A&M for OOS students?

I thought UT and Texas A&M are having a hard time accepting all the qualified Texas residents?

If it’s true about Texas A&M, what are the stats that merit auto admit if you’re OOS?

Most of these programs are for IN-STATE students at public universities. You need to check out your home-state public university websites to find out what your options are.
