Which undergraduate programs give students the best opportunities in business? In other words which schools have the best connections in getting their students high paying jobs?

santa clara univ.

I think the obvious answer is Harvard. Dartmouth and Notre Dame also have very strong alumni networks.

Ivies, Stanford, USC, UCLA, UVA, UMich, Berkeley, Gtown, Duke...

jpps1, not stroner than USC's.

NYU Stern...

upenn wharton

Chicago is a power house

I'm surprised it took 4 posts before Wharton popped up there! :)

because wharton is not an ivy?

look at the first word in themegastud post

but wharton is an ivy....

I was being sarcastic

What about Northwestern? Also...what would most people recommend more...doing undergrad business or doing undergrad engineering and then going to graduate business school? Also, what would be the point of doing grad business school what one has already done undergrad? Thanks!

Northwestern has a pretty strong economics program.

The point of going to grad school is to be able to network with others, with an MBA degree you're sort of more valuable, you generally get higher paying jobs. Look at the salaries of BBAs and MBAs, there's a pretty big difference.

HIGH PAYING? wharton, uva, ross

and NU, Chicago............-+

How about UNC Chapel Hill? How good are its connections in terms of prospects and salary?

I heard Oxford is good. Is it?

The Wharton School..nuff said
