My friend really wants to major in this. He's too lazy to search for himself though, so I'm doing him a favor. What schools offer this sort of degree? I know UC Davis, CSU Fresno and Wash State have it. What others?

You made me wikipedia that.

I’m surprised anywhere would have a degree for that. Seems very specific for a bachelors degree. This was probably a no-brainer but check other colleges in CA, there’s probably not going to be many outside of CA that would have that program.

Cornell
Oregon State (in the Food Science dept.)

Cal Poly.

(10 chars)

I know Cornell University does.

I am also planning on attending a university with this major. Worldwide there are many notable V&E programs but I presume that you are talking U.S. schools. The programs in California are Fresno State, UCD, and Cal Poly SLO as the newest program. WSU in Washington State , OSU in Oregon, (not completely sure if they have a 4 year bachelors program) and Cornell University, New York. All schools offer the same basic education, but FSU and UCD have the oldest, and most academically intensive programs in viticulture & Enology, meaning more V&E, chem and bio courses.

I have met alumni from each of these schools, and they’re all very good in the wine industry.
