Hey, I need some help lol.

I really want to study Cultural anthropology and minor in either classical studies, ancient history, or something along those lines.

I am a junior with a 3.8 GPA (going up this year with my AP classes). I'd like a smaller liberal arts college anywhere in the US. Oh and somewhere with good study abroad programs would be great, but not necessary.

I just need help because it's really hard to find anywhere with a cultural anthropology major, let alone know what the good schools are.

Thanks so much!

Good anthropology/classics LACs:

Amherst
Bard
Barnard
Beloit
Bowdoin
Bryn Mawr
Carleton
Colgate
College of Wooster (I know two professors here- awesome program)
Davidson
Franklin & Marshall
Grinnell
Hamilton
Haverford
Kenyon
Oberlin
Reed
Sarah Lawrence
Smith
Vassar
Wellesley
Wesleyan
Williams

Although it's not a LAC, Rice (3000 students) would be worth checking out. It has a good anthropology program and an interdisciplinary Ancient Mediterranean Civilization major. Dartmouth is a bit larger (4000 students) but maintains a small school feel and has excellent programs in both areas.

Wow, I've only heard of like 3 of those. Thank you I'll check em out.

Just curious....not wanting to hijack at all, so send a PM if you want, but what can one do with this major after graduation? Thanks.

Arizona is supposed to be one of the best in the country, and with stats like that, you could probably get a small scholarship.

It's not an LAC, but still worth looking at.
