Hi, I am interested in pursuing a CogSci major and will be attending college next year. However, due to it being a relatively fresh and obscure program there isn’t much information about this major online. I have a few schools in mind such as Stanford (SymSys), UC Berkeley etc. but I would like to know which schools have a more developed CogSci program that devotes resources solely to CogSci rather than it being a combination of the CompSci, Psychology, Philosophy, Neuroscience and Linguistics department. I would also prefer to have a CogSci program which focus more in depth in the Computer Science aspect of this field. I would appreciate any and all information you can provide which can help me make a more informed choice as to which college I can choose which are better/more suited to my preferences. Thank you!
Have you considered Johns Hopkins, CMU, Brown, WUSTL, or Michigan?

RPI would be a good option. It’s one of the few colleges with a separate CogSci department, and has a strong CompSci focus since RPI is very CS/tech oriented in general. (You could also dual major CogSci/CompSci). http://www.cogsci.rpi.edu
