I like the idea of taking short and useful enrichment courses outside of my major. What are some other schools that do this?
Colby and Bates both have these. Possibly Middlebury?
Middlebury, Oberlin.
This is often called a 4-1-4 calendar plan - maybe try searching for that?
Lafayette College (the January intersession classes offered on campus are limited, but the school runs a number of 2-3 week intersession classes off campus for credit during January and May).
For Bates it’s at the end of the year and called Short Term. So it’s a 4-4-1 schedule and I loved it!
Wellesley has a “Wintersession” in January.

Amherst College too.
St. Olaf, they call it the “J Term”, for January.
Eckerd College has Winter Term, 4-1-4 schedule. Offers courses on and off campus. https://www.eckerd.edu/internationaled/winter/
