Schools with Music Business/Industry (Music Management) and developed music programs

<p>I'm looking for a university with a developed and fairly good music school. It's hard to find one that also hosts a music business major. So far, the best one I've noticed is the University of Miami, but it's hard to find others. The Northeast would be nice, but I'm open to all suggestions. Drexel is one that has the major, but no actual music program. Thanks</p>

<p>What do you define as music business? The terminology and degree/programs paths are varied and encompass a broad spectrum. Are you looking for an audition centered or non audition program?</p>

<p>NYU, JMU, Drexel, Syracuse, Northeastern, Univ. Hartford, Delaware…</p>

<p>All of these schools have programs and all are different. We’ve been visiting them…</p>

<p>USC’s music industry major is within the Thornton School of Music, 125 years old this year.
The Los Angeles location is both a media and entertainment center. There are many opportunities for internships as the city is a center for the recording, radio, film and TV industries.</p>
