Schools with strong Art AND science programs?

<p>I've been trying to find a good a good college that has both strong art AND science programs, since I was considering majoring something around the Bio or Psych area, but I wanted to minor in art as a side thing. The thing is I do not want to go into an art college, mostly because I like the wide range of majors offered by non-art colleges, but I'm having a hard time finding a college that fits what I want. </p>

<p>What I'm looking for in a college is...
- colleges that offer Illustration as a major or at least offer a concentration in Art>Drawing, or a nice selection of art-related majors/courses to choose from (like Graphic Design, Interior Design, etc). The last one I would rather prefer.
- would preferably be on the West Coast.
- would be nice if it were a school that was eligible for WUE tuition, but its more of a bonus than a requirement from me.
- better for the college to have a wide range of majors in case I change my mind about majors. LACs are okay, but I often find their selection of majors to be rather small for my tastes.</p>

<p>If anyone could come up with some suggestions to help me, that would be wonderful!</p>

<p>It’s not west coast, but you should look into Washington University in St Louis.</p>

OP, what can you afford?</p>

<p>Lewis and Clark would be a hi match. LACs have more majors than you may think.</p>

<p>Utah State University. Not on the coast, but I think it’s in the WUE region</p>

<p>You should be able to come up with a list by running the various college search engines (there is a good one here) and specifically searching for institutions that offer BOTH Design and Biological science. The search engines will also screen for regions of the country and other factors that matter to you.</p>
