There are some of those in SD, but WAY MORE in OC!

So this is a bit late, but...

To my knowledge there is no such thing as "Hawaii State" or a "Hawaii Helo" school, but there is a University of Hawaii at Manoa and UH Hilo, and a few others. But back to the question: any Hawaii school, hands down. And if you have some strange compulsion to make a snowman during winter, you could take a short drive and do it. Best weather, best beaches, best diversity, best safety, best value. Period.

Cornell? Michigan? I'm just going to freeze my butt off there..

All of southern california(except Riverside, San Bernardino, Inland empire, Barstow etc), hands down. The best places to live. There's the beautiful range of beaches there for surfing, and the mountains for snowboarding and skiing are not too far either. And there's Hollywood, LA, San Diego Zoo(best zoo in American? I think), great music scenes, lots of bands bands performing here all the time, models, actors, cultural and racial diversity, SO CAL HAS ALL TO OFFER!

UCSD and UCSB - both highly-ranked colleges adjacent to the beach (short walking distance). Of course, anything in Hawaii would be good beach-wise.

seriously the sun is overrated...rain and snow is where it's at.

Hell yeah! San Francisco FTW.

University of Miami, bar none. South Beach, come on. They even call it Club U!

Miami is an over rated piece of sh**t trust me I have lived here for 19 god forsaken years. USF st.pete is on the lake and you get to take the boats out any time for free and the beaches are close.

UCSB and UCSD seem like they'd have great weather..

but for me i prefer bay area weather over everything else out there.

the surfing at ucsd really isnt that great, santa barbara has better beaches for that. maybe something in florida?

depends what you consider the best weather...go to california or florida if you want to tan all year long. p
ersonally I can't stand having 1 season, I need 4 definite seasons...and some snow. I've met people at nyu who are from "SoCal" (that's what they insist on calling it) and they've never seen snow before in real life! only on tv/movies/pictures! isn't that weird? I can't imagine it, it sounds crazy. anyway I hate hate hate hot sticky humid climates. here in NY the winter is cold like it's supposed to be, and the summer is pleasantly warm. I live on the shore of Long island and there's plenty of beaches all over the place.

Anyway i do reccommend santa barbara if you're looking for some nice beaches.
