Schools within NYU?

I am wondering which school inside of NYU I should apply for since I can only apply to one of them. I'm not 100% sure what I'm interested in doing, but right now i own an event videography business so i was thinking Stern would be cool because i like business but it's the most competitive and I'm not sure if my grades and SAT scores are high enough, though I have taken a fair share of APs and done well on those. I was also considering Tisch because I sing and I have performed with the band and choir in carnegie hall so I've done quite a bit there but I'm not sure i want to do something with music, but i could also apply to tisch for video production. I think however I'd like to go to law school or do business law so I was wondering if Gallatin would be a good choice or if it'd be better to go with CAS.

How about you stop being so damn fickle?

whereas this is a very important decision, and it might not seem fair, you eventually you have to learn to make choices. Figure out what you want to do most. You're post is rather pointless since you want us to tell you whats best for you. Theres no way for us to know what you want to do best, but you pretty much answered your own questions about which school is best for which career choice.

for business law id do a finance/politics double major, for law school I'd do a liberal arts/pre-law track I'd do CAS. Stay away from Gallatin unless you have a VERY specific career path that no other schools can give. You're diploma will say "individualized studies" and this makes getting interviews harder and is something you have to explain away.

you should go to clown college

Why be such a jerk Piemastarr?????

you're being the jerk by implying that there's something wrong with clown college

only thing I hate more than stupid questions are people who need to make fun of the stupid questions on message boards....

if you are interested in music, you would go to steinhardt... not tisch.

tisch has a musis program and musical theatre

Tisch does not have any music program except for musical theatre- which is designed to be a theatre program with some singing on the side where steinhardt’s musical theatre is music with some acting on the side- im a music major in steinhardt- that’s where the music program is

Actually, if you’re aiming for law school, it matters not at all what major/school you choose, as long as you maintain a high GPA and can get great LSAT scores. I wouldn’t consider that as a factor in your choice…
