Schools you would never go to.....

Everyone talks about the schools they wished or hoped to go to....what about the schools you never want to see yourself at because the academics are bad or the social life just sucks! What are those schools?

I could never go to Swarthmore. I couldn't handle the workload.
Or someplace really rural. I'd hang myself.

Drexel or RPI. I always hear horror stories about them.

I have a somewhat irrational fear of Rutgers as well, but no real backing (it's irrational! whaddya know?)

Most of the SUNYs. I wouldn't say no to Geneseo or Binghamton though.

Any Maryland state university other than UMD...Too close to home! Also Mt. St. Mary's...or any other school with a sickeningly small campus and/or small student body. I like to step into a school and feel surrounded by people and activity. Add to that list Pepperdine/Bob Jones/anything freakishly conservative.

I'm pretty easy to please, even though there are schools I definitely want to attend, I think I could have a great four years at just about every large university out there.

anything with an urban campus and rutgers university.

Bob Jones University and Liberty University!!

UCSD, yeah I know... my school is on its campus, and I've been going here for 6 years! Argh...

Agreed in Bob Jones and Liberty. Fun with fundies is not my thing.

Penn State

Penn State? Why? It's pretty much on par with UMD for me, a slight edge because of the distance from home.

Albany. Blergh

Pensacola Christian, Chico State, Fresno State, etc.

Ohio state, any university in kentucky, any in chicago, Florida Institute of technology or any other school that ends in the word technology, any of the ivies with the exception of Upenn

Montana State University-Northern. Absolute hellhole. I think one of the two dorms just got internet access last year

Any college that's in a rural area. Monmouth University in NJ, Bob Jones University..

I think I'll avoid any ultra-conservative school. That narrows the field considerably.

Forgot another: Grove City

Having gone there, Brown. I would never go back. You couldn't pay me enough to go back.

Based off hearsay and personal preferences:
MIT, CalTech, anything-Tech (I'm not a math/science person), any school where it's cold in the winter :)

Will add to this list later.

Ecliptica, why Brown? No one I've ever talked to has had a bad experience with Brown.
