Sci Arc or University of Miami for architecture?

I’m torn between choosing one of these two universities for BArch. Money is not an issue for me, it’s just a hard decision choosing between two really good schools.

@endwail Have you visited both?

Sci-Arc has long held the position of the most conceptual design driven architecture destination. It’s consistently rated among the top ten BArch programs and has a stellar reputation for cutting edge design and technology. If you’re looking to be challenged creatively in an all architecture all the time environment, this is the place for you.

U of Miami’s architecture program has been inching up in the ratings for its energetic interaction with its economically diverse community. Lately they’ve attracted a lot of talented faculty (especially with Central and South American heritage) and are establishing a reputation for dynamic community focused design and planning. Being part of a larger university provides a different experience from Sci-Arc’s architecture intensively architecture focus.

Sci-Arc probably has wider name recognition throughout the country and globally but Miami is an up and comer.
