science and computers?

what kind of majors would involve science (preferrably biology) as well as computers? are there any majors that combine these two aspects, or would it be a double major instead? also, what colleges would be strong in both of these subjects and/or have a combined major in these subjects?

bioinformatics

exactly, bioinformatics. Or some put it computational biology. It's fairly new program, so it might be hard to know about this major. Try googling. I'm also interested in this major too.

Also bioengineering sounds like one too, but not so sure.

UCSD has a bioinformatics program so you might want to check out the info they have on it.

Carnegie Mellon also has a computational biology program, and I believe that Rice does quite a bit of research in the area and may offer upper level classes.
