hey, i was just wondering, how do u guys study for a quiz for history and science ? b/c i have both these coming up,and these two are my two weakest subject. your help would be appreciated, plz and thank u=)

what kind of science?

I re-read my notes- none of it makes sense.
i open my text book and then try to make sense of that
if ur textbooks have an online student site go on there and take the quizzes or tests on it- they can be VERY useful
It also depends on which class ur taking. if ur science is chemistry than u need more practice than reading but if its bio than read, read, and re-read ur notes, labs, wkshts, etc.
Most history is just plain memorization and comprehension. i write down the things that are really hard to remember and study those 1st. dont do flashcards- their a waste of time!

envormental science, and World History

Read, and reread your text books. Write essays for practice analyzing things. Read primary sources.

to study: science... i'd google the Topic...especially if you are taking a state exam at the end of the class. Then I'd put in "State Exam-Topic"...Suprisingly useful in terms of questions and reviews from teachers

for history-make flashcards, type notes

Both: Get review books at the BEGINNING! of the Year!!
You may find it helpful to get SAT II books, or for the State Exam..., or AP books
