Science and Math Requrements

I’m going to be in the Honors Program at BC, and an English major most likely. I was just wondering what the exact requirements were for math and science classes, because i really dont wanna have to take that much. I kno it says one math class, and two sciences to fulfill the core…so does that mean one semester of math and two semesters of science? and if so, does that mean i need to take 2 different science classes, like chem and bio, and do both have labs to them? or does a lab science last 2 semesters?

As far as sciences go, you do need two semesters but only one needs to have a lab component. Some lab sciences, like chem and bio, last two semesters, so if you took one of those classes you'd be all set after the year. There are also many different offerings in the bio, chem, and geology departments for non-science type people like us. I took Origins of Life which was a one semester class in the geology department that had a lab. So after that I have one more semester which I plan on filling with a one semester class without a lab like Chemistry and Society, the Living Earth or something easy for non-majors.

anyone have any idea how well credits transfer from a midwest state university. organic chemistry/anat physiology/genetics/humanites that variety?
