What was the science curve for the April ACT?

Idk but it was *****ing brutal because I thought I got a 31-32 and I got a 27. Imagine my rage with a 35 English 33 Math 31 Reading and 27 Science

It was. I thought I got 3-4 wrong but I ended up with a 25 -___-"

Told you so!!!

same sinclair the 27 really @#$ me up

I’m pretty sure i had only 3-4 wrong and i got a 30

Reaganomics; the exact same thing happened to me!

I only missed one that I knew of, but expected -3 or -4. It is very strange, because up until now, my predictions have all been correct.

I ended up getting a 30 and killing my 34 composite. Oh well, I would like to be done with the test, but I will have to wait until September.

2-3 wrong equated to about 32.

^ Science killed my 35 composite. But I am satisfied!

Why was it so harsh? I thought it was medium difficulty compared to other tests, but it gave me my worst science score I have yet received. I am still seething that with just one more question right, just a 31, I would have my 34 and never take the test again.

science was hard. the 2nd chemistry one (about solids/liquids) and the volcanoes one were hard as hell

So is the curve -1=34, -2=32? That seems really harsh.

I’m pretty sure I only missed 1 and I got a 34 on it. It wasn’t a particularly easy science test either…It was probably the hardest one I have ever taken.

Probably not. Just because someone thinks they missed one, doesn’t mean they only missed one.

But has anyone gotten a 35 in science?

How come the ACT people don’t let us know how many we get wrong?
