Science Department and Professors?

How is the science department like in 'berg? seems like a lot of students concentrate on theatre more than the sciences in this school. And how is the Premed program also like? Are the science labs nice? And are the professors willing to go out of their way to help students? And do the professors generally bore students or try to engage students in discussions and hands-on activities? Also, are there a lot of TA's which teach some classes? I know its a lot to ask, but I would greatly appreciate your answers!

There are no TAs because there is no graduate school at MC. Only professors teach classes.

The premed program is one of the most successful in the country if you look at the percentage of students who apply to and are admitted to medical schools. There is a brand new science building… I think open two years now that is state of the art. I’d also say that the professors go out of their way to help all students, not just the science professors.

Premed is one of the most popular majors at MC. Yes, there are a lot of theatre students, but premed is perhaps one of the most popular programs, then theatre. Premed students are weeded out pretty quickly, though. You have to be totally committed from first semester freshman year. No slacking off.
