Science/Engineering Fellowship/Research at Columbia

Are there any science or engineering fellowships or research at Columbia open to non-columbia university students?

The Columbia SURF/Amgen summer program is open to non-Columbia students, but you have to be an undergrad. SURF/Amgen is mostly for bio, chemistry, and BME labs, though. Other departments might have their own programs, but I wouldn’t know. Some individual PIs might be willing to take on non-Columbia students.

OH BME that’s awesome. I wonder what their requirements are?

Thanks a lot!!

Is this a new thing that it’s open to non-CU kids and that it’s affiliated w/ Amgen? It was CU only when I did it.

Sorry, you’re right, C2002. SURF is CU only but Amgen isn’t. I just lump the two together because they’re so similar.
