Hii CCers!! :D

So I've always wanted to take part in a science fair because I absolutely love Science. BUT unfortunately, I don't know anything about how to go about doing a science fair and where to really start since I recently moved from another country...
Can anyone plz explain to me the steps to doing/taking part in a science fair?? The more details the better!

Thank you SOO much!!!! :)

I think you have to be invited to participate. Out of curiosity, what area are you in?

Do you have a research project? It depends. I personally did research at a university with professors and automatically qualified for some more prestigious fairs (Including I-SWEEEP). Some of the less prestigious fairs I more or less registered through the school. PM me if you have any more specific questions.

Well, generally most people start from school or local science fairs in order to go to state and national science fairs.

Except in the case of Siemens and Intel Science Talent Search, the big exceptions. There are other less heard of but stil prestigious competitions out there probably but I just don’t know.

Hi guys!
I am thinking of starting of with local Science fairs and then moving on to Intel and Siemens, etc.
Where do I start? And what are the main things I need to know about the process of doing a science fair?

Well, I don’t know how much help it is, but sciencebuddies.org is a good place to get introductory material.

ok thanks! I’ll definitely look into that :)

bump…
