Any recommendations as to which classes to take to fulfill the two science GEs (the lab clases?)

Stats 13 was really easy and counts as an LS lab.

Earthquakes was also easy, mildly entertaining, included a free field trip (with lunch money), had a textbook that cost only $42 and you really don’t need anyway, and counts as physical science lab. (Earth and Space Sciences 8).

A&0 3: Intro to Atmospheric Environment has an optional L/D component and satisfies physical science. I’m interested in weather, so it was my favorite class I’ve taken at UCLA thus far, even though I’m an English major. I also really liked the professor (H. Brix). Plus it was easy and only had one text book, which had an online version that was around $40 and was extremely helpful to me.

I’ve taken Astro 3, Stats 10, A&O Sci 1 and Geog 2. I agree with SaltyBruin that H. Brix is a really good professor!!

I’ve taken Astro 4 with McLean. Not a lab, but definitely the easiest class I’ve taken in my life.

nvm didnt see the lab part

Hm…question, what’s the lab part. My OC told me that GEs in LS should have lab, but…there’s a lot that I want to take but that doesn’t have lab 0_0
So…the ones without lab won’t actually satisfy the GE requirements? Then…what’s the point of being in the list?

reread your GE requirements. I’m sure it’s one LS w/ Lab and one standard science GE. Most things make sense.
