ACT Test Prep specialist here. You need to look specifically at the kinds of problems you’re getting wrong, and address your weaknesses individually. I assume you’ve picked up the official ACT book? The new version contains 5 practice tests. Start doing the science sections, then look for patterns. Are you having problems interpreting certain kinds of graphs? Maybe it’s the experiment questions? Go do a science section or two, and then REFLECT on your performance. Practice without reflection will only get you so far.

I have a 36 on the act science (34 composite) and have tutored a friend who got a 33 on the science (28 composite), and the biggest pieces of advice I give to people is:
A. focus on what the graphs are saying and decipher what they means. at least 80% of the questions are directly related to reading graphs and if you can master this skill (practice under pressure makes perfect) you will improve drastically. another thing is when reading the questions, scan for what graph table it is talking about immediately. this gets you in the right mindset to look in the correct place for the answer.
B. stay calm!! at least the people i know tend to get all worked up in science due to the time crunch. this is a huge mistake. you will overlook key details in the graphs or overanalyze a question that you are trying to answer and hurt your time situation even more. stay serious, but when tackling the science test dont be overwhelmed.

If you took this test during the month of April then I have heard from many people that that section was very hard and many people were getting 24-28
