Science killed my composite score grievance thread

^ im like you, Science helped me.

I feel like my Reading score (27) got switched with my science score (34). If i just did well on my reading i could have gotten a really good score :[

E-35 (with two 18’s)
M-34
R-27
S-28
C-31

Really a combination of reading and science that hurts me…everytime…

Wow, I got a 22 on science.. REALLY bad.

31 composite. So much for improving my score.

first time taking act…
E-34
M-32
R-32
S-29
comp-32

i thouth i had done a lot worse on science so in panic i signed up for the december ACT…still taking it, I guess, won’t hurt, it’s just its on the same day as our school christmas banquet

how is my comp in comparison to a 2210 on SAT? which score should i send?

E-33
M-31
R-34
S-24 (Wow..smh)

After getting through the first three sections I was thinking the October ACT was the eaiest I’d ever taken. Lol thats before I got to Science. This is awful, I got a 32 last time.

hanstar, ur SAT scores are better. send that one.

E-35
M-35
R-34
S-28 ARGGGGGGGGGGGH
C- still a 33.

i heard colleges look mostly at E & M…
i hope so? did anybody hear this fact?

Did you guys do better than expected? Or No?

No, they look at your composite. The breakdown is important, but not THAT vital.

First time taking the ACT:

E: 31
R: 29 (I panicked)
M: 29

…S: 26
C: 29

if it wasnt for that science section i would have gotten a 30, lame.

SATs > ACTs, for me its like a +500 point difference between the two tests (when converted)

E: 35
M: 33
W: 36
S: 29

Composite: 33

If I’d gotten ONE more point in ANY section it’d have been a 34 (my target). Hate my life.

RootBeerCaesar, same thing happened to me. Hahaha. Huge difference between my crappy ACT score and my SAT score.

Would it be fair to say that the science portion for October was significantly harder than they usually are? I’d only taken practice ones before, but it sure seemed like that to me.

M: 35
E: 35
R: 32
S: 30… drat.

Composite: 33 - If I’d gotten a 32 on science like I had on practice tests, it would’ve been rounded to 34.

M:36
E:33
R:30
S:27

comp: 32 again! got 31 on september science though…

M:31
E:24
R:28
S:36
C:30

I know this post doesn’t necessarily belong here, but english killed me…

hahaha sat= 1470/2180
ACT=26 ■■■■■

SAT math=800
ACT math=30
How does that happen!?!?!

“Would it be fair to say that the science portion for October was significantly harder than they usually are? I’d only taken practice ones before, but it sure seemed like that to me.”

I thought this was the hardest of the three times I’ve taken the ACT, but my score in science was the highest it’s ever been: 31 (although it was still my lowest overall)

^sweatpants, I have the same problem. Hahaha…

E - 35
M - 34
R - 30
S - 25 (***?)

C - 31

E-31
M-33
R-27
S-27

I was pulling for a 32 in science, but I’d say Im happy with my overall score.
