Science labs?

i was looking on college board and browsing through colleges when I saw a few of them require a couple "science labs." Do they mean the labs we did in the classes or labs we have to send to them via postage stamp? And more importantly, does this affect admissions? would they look at it and use it as a factor toward applications?

thinking back, I did labs in science classes but usually ended up throwing away the write ups after the class was done with the lab. was i supposed to keep them?

No, there are certain sciences that are considered lab classes, like Biology, Chemistry, Physics. That means, in your schedule, you are assigned class time, plus lab time. It’s not a lab report you have to show; it’s in your transcript.
