Science majors abroad in foreign language?

Is it recommended to take science classes abroad to fulfill your major requirements? (hard science major, all classes taken are in a foreign language)

bump, I’d really like the know. I know people who have studied abroad in all majors, except those in the hard sciences/engineering. Is it possible to take foreign language genetics/immunology/etc courses for your major?

I am also interested, bump. Spanish specifically if the language is pertinent.

bump…

bumpp. i would like to know this too

where do you go to school? in Pitt’s engineering dept, we have a specific study abroad department that will work very hard to make sure everything goes through/counts. If you do a school-specific program (ie “pitt in london” or “brown in italy,” etc) it’s more likely you’ll get credit. Go ask your study abroad dept and look for pamphlets there entitled “Studying Abroad in _____” (engineering, science, premed, etc).
