Hello, I have been wondering about all the different science majors out there. I plan on going to med school after getting my bachelors, so i want to kow what would be the best area to major in. Im thinking biology but i want to know some others that would be good to major in or some more specific biology majors / pre-med majors.
Thanks!

Pre-med can be done with any major. Many pre-meds do biology because it is convenient (biology major requirements cover most or all of the pre-med courses), but you can major in anything else (e.g. humanities, social studies, math, statistics, physics, etc.) and do pre-med around it (though majors with lots of non-overlapping requirements like non-chemical engineering may be difficult).

Consider your other academic and career goals when selecting a major. Note that most pre-meds do not get admitted to any medical school, and biology (and chemistry) majors have poor job and career prospects at the bachelor’s degree level.
