<p>I just found out that my regional Science Olympiad competition and state-wide MUN conference are on the same day. I was wondering if anyone could offer me any guidance as to which to do - the chances are slim to none that I'll be able to do both. I've done science olympiad for seven years, but I'm thinking of majoring in something along the lines of economics/polysci, so I think that Model UN would be a bit more valuable. However I'd like to know if colleges would want to see a long commitment to Science Olympiad or an involvement in Model UN? I was thinking that perhaps I would coach an event or two in Science Olympiad and participate in MUN. Would this be looked down upon by college admission officers? Thank so much.</p>
