Science question! Explain please

<p>So I got a question wrong in this test I took but I'm not sure why.</p>

<p>Why aren't they both increasing (temp and pressure)?</p>

<p>As the line for pressure goes up, the line for temperature goes down. Try not to think too much about the actual content on graph questions like this; your scientific background knowledge means absolutely nothing if the graph says something that seems to contradict it.</p>

<p>I didn’t even look at the lines at first, I just looked at the scale lol. And in chem I know that as temperature increases so does pressure… but now I know! thanks</p>

Yeah that question was tricky in the ‘simple’ sense. Hard not to apply gas laws with all the PV=nRT and whatnot to questions that are related to it</p>
