Hello, I'm a rising junior who is doing biology research this summer. Originally, I was registered for the Siemens Competition, but today (I admit I don't really read instructions sometimes) I noticed that only seniors can submit individual projects and that no exceptions are given. So does anybody know of any other good science research competitions I could submit to that accept individual projects by non-seniors?

Intel, maybe? I haven’t seen the rules for it so I don’t know.

Intel STS is also for seniors only. Try the google science fair.

Intel ISEF after you qualify at a regional science fair.

Google science fair has a lower hurdle than intel isef but its very much worth your time.

For Google Science, start now. Projects are due in May and results don’t come out for a good few months; junior year is your last chance if you want to get anything out of it. (I’m a senior so I’m sad :()
