Science subject test, retake?

Hello Everyone,

I took my SAT subject tests in December and scored a 740 in Math II and a 630 in Chemistry. While I am happy with my math score, I would really like my Chemistry a bit higher. About 75% of the schools I am applying to accept January test date scores, should I retake?

Some of my reach schools are Ivy League level, is 630 completely unacceptable in a science subject test for that level of school? I actually know someone going to MIT who got a 600 in their Physics subject test. Is a 630 really too low?

I thought I was done with standardized tests :/ , but do you think I should give the Chemistry one last shot in January?

Thank you for your input,

Yes, you should retake. Most successful applicants at Ivy League schools have SAT II scores of at least 740.

Take it. 630 would not be okay. You would need at least a 760 to even be considered, if you decide to have a science major.
