Science?

This might have been asked previously, but oh well. My college requires 2 semesters of science for Gen. Ed. requirements, and I have no idea what to take. I can take Physics, Biology, Geology, and Chemistry all at the intro level. I know I'm going to take Physics for one, but I hate Biology and Chemistry and know nothing about Geology. Should I go with Geology since it sounds interesting enough and I know that I will be miserable in Bio or Chem?

Geology is the only boring science that I dislike. I love any other science class....

I say take the biology or Chemistry

Biology and chemistry are easy classes if you study the book and pay attention in class. Chemistry is all practicing problems while biology is mostly memorization. Most kids fail out because they don't put enough time into it.

From now on, replace the word "hard" with "time-consuming."

doesn't your school have BS electives to fulfill science gen eds? i know at my school there are other choices besides the traditional hard sciences...if you school only offers what you mentioned then i'd say geology and biology are the easiest

I don't know much about geology either, but can you look through the textbook you'd be using for it and get a better idea?

yeah, same question as ChamilitaryMayne: are you sure there aren't any other choices? Like here you can take classes like nutrition or human sexuality to fufill the science GEs. Look into it just to be sure. It'd be easier than a year of chem or geology.

all the intro science courses at my school are a joke but then again i am a microbiology major
