I know people have touched on this in the past, but perhaps, here in 2014, there is new information. How are the sciences at AU? I know science majors are in the majority, but what does life at AU look like for a student in a science department, during school and after graduation? D was accepted to AU, and she likes it very much. She has recently rekindled the idea of majoring in chemistry. For both of us, one of the main reasons AU looks so good is the emphasis on career development, access to internships, and what seems like a culture of career-mindedness among the students. My big question is- does all this goodness work as well for students outside of the poliSci/International Relations/Business majors? Thanks for any input!
