Is Tufts a good school for the sciences (specifically chemistry)? From what I've been reading, it seems to be more humanities focused.

Of course it is. Tufts is a very good school for pretty much everything. Is it one of the best schools out there for chemistry? Nope, but that shouldn't really matter at the undergrad level anyway...

Tufts really does have a very strong science program- ask snuffles (he was pre-med). All of my friends who were pre-med are off doing amazing things. Several were accepted early into Tufts Med School, and others are taking time off before med school to do research and volunteer abroad. At Tufts you will get a renowned, challenging pre-med curriculum coupled with an excellent, global liberal arts perspective. It's a pretty good deal
