Could someone elaborate of the quality of the sciences at these two schools? Specifically chemistry/biochemistry. I'm not necessarily looking for big research opportunities because these are LACs, but I want to have professors who are experienced and very dedicated to teaching in-depth material. Also, if you could compare the facilities and the amount the school devotes to the the sciences. Finally, if there are any notable professors or any on-campus research opportunities available.

Thanks

There is a thread “Sciences at Williams” that was posted during October with much of the info you seek

I hope you found other threads to be helpful. There should be quite a bit on this topic. I’ll just add that Bicentennial Hall at Middlebury (the science building) is fabulous and students are always raving about the science departments and the research opportunities. Contact the department (contact info. on the website) before you visit in order to meet with someone. That’s the best way to form your own opinion.
